There are also religious theories, models, and hypotheses which can also be represented as dimensions in statistical or mathematical space. Visualization of these religious data is exactly the same process of looking for correspondence between all known factors, including spatial, measurement, statistical or mathematical, conceptual, and simply looking for missing regions of knowledge.

For example, think about the impact of topography of musicians. Is there something about the spatial frequency of the mountains, or the plains, or the city which influenced composers as they traveled from place to place. Composers like: To pick one example, think of Sergei Prokofiev’s 1936 “Peter and the Wolf.” The way Prokofiev uses instruments to reflect nature seems so natural: a flute for the bird; an oboe for the duck; a clarinet for the cat; a bassoon for the grandfather; French horns for the wolf; woodwinds followed by timpani and base drum for the hunters; and stringed instruments for Peter. These sounds seem an extension of actually being in the forest with Peter.

And maybe it is the cartoons used to illustrate the “Peter and the Wolf” story which have combined with the music to create these images for me. There is no question about the spiritual feelings the music of these composers has created at various times in my life.
