With the risk of offending those who consider this a miracle which needs no explanation, there are aquifers in the Arabian desert which have a limestone crust, or in other words a fluid seal, which traps the water. When this crust is broken, the water will flow freely. There are maps of these aquifers. It makes sense to me that by visualizing these spaces and specific locations, and integrating them with other theological and scientific data, the results will bring the scriptures more alive to many in our generation.

Consider also Deuteronomy 4:11, where the scriptures teach us:
“And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.”
Does this description remind anyone besides me of the fires in Kuwait? Doesn’t this correlation suggest a source of the fire, namely burning hydrocarbon seeps, which created darkness, clouds, and THICK DARKNESS? Where are they?

In Judges 6:21 we are taught:
“Then the angel of the Lord put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleaven cakes; and there arose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the Lord departed out of his sight.”
Today this reads like an 19th Century parlor trick, with coal, or oil shale. And when visualized in context of physical space and location, it will disprove the divinity of the scriptures to those with a closed mind, and prove the Lord uses natural laws to guide His people to those with an Open Mind. And so is it worth the effort to map all of these data? Finding truth is always worth the effort. Especially when opening one’s mind and finding spiritual truths.
