Dear Roice,

How funny you should have an allergy attack this weekend. I don't suffer as sever as you do but this morninb has been the worst for me. It is very humid and the stuff that makes my nose run, eyes water and sneeze seem to be hanging out in the humdity. This morning Chuck wanted to know why I was running in and out of the bathroom while he was trying to get the last of his early morning sleep.

It was so good to see you at the reunion, we have some great pitcures to remember the weekend with. I sent a letter off to Paul with the other missionary letters I wrote yesterday. Yesterday we had the strangest missionary farewell I have ever been to. The missionary didn't show up until the last 10 minutes of sacrament meeting. This is what happens when someone makes a decision based on what their parents want. It was so weird sitting there and hearing all this wonderfull stuff about the kid and how strong his testimony was. The real clincher was when Brother Anderson said, "I know that Kevin wants to go on a mission because everytime I ask him if he is going, he says yes." Sadly, Kevin hadn't been to church for the past year or participated in any of his priesthood duties. I guess we wouldn't be so affected by the whole thing but we know Kevin, he is one of Ben's friends and spends a lot of time at our house. I just pray that he will do some big time growing up on his mission.

When we got home I told Chuck that I am so glad our sons make decisions for themselves, bad ones or good ones. At least we have given them the opportunities to make a bunch of mistakes and they have learned from it. Kevin has never been allowed to make any decisions about his life, his parent do it all for him.

This reinforced the fact to me that even though our kids may not be living the way we taught them to that they are GREAT KIDS! Both mine and yours. I talked with Roice for a brief moment this am. He quit his job at the motorcycle shop, I had a feeling it would be a matter of time since he seems to require a lot of rest. Working 7 days a week is pretty greuling for anyone. Now that he has free Sundays he will probably come over for dinner and to hang this Sunday.

wish you could come too! Have a great week,

Love, Di
