Mother's Day,

Mom enjoyed Mesquite. She liked the food and blowing $30 on the slot machines. I got her to choose some new books because they have a poor selection at Porter's. She wants to come home, but she doesn't want to have to walk so I told her she had to earn coming home by being able to go to the bathroom alone and walk alone a short distance. She was quite disoriented today, but we managed alright. Bridget came with me which helped a lot. I can't really ever see her getting any better. She enjoys the 24 hour service too much. It's so sad. I haven't told her we'll have to lease the house. It will just upset her and I'm a coward at this stage. She wants me to get the garden dug up and planted so she can bottle food in the fall. She enjoyed the SUU centennial history I took down and it has several references to her as well as a good photo. Anne Leavitt worked very hard on it and it's a beautiful book. Mom wants to give one to Luana so I'll take one down to them. Claude says they'll be home about the 18th and report their mission on June 15.

This is pretty stream of consciousness tonight, but I'm tired.

Love,

Sara
