Hi Roice,

Your "thoughtlet" this week caught my attention. I have always told Chuck that you and he communicate on a different level than I do, not a bad thing, I just have to work harder to understand what you are talking about.

I don't know if you know or not but my rose garden is my favorite place to be. They are my favorite flower and I spend a lot of time taking care of them and learning more about them from classes and nurserymen. As you were writing about them I was thinking about one of my favorite sotries that Hugh B. Brown told in conference. How glad I was to hear that you like that story too! I have been "pruned" several times by lifes experiences and I find comfort in Elder Browns story. thanks for reminding me of it today.

I don't know what the Texas weather is like but here we prune our roses between Christmas and New Years. My roses are budding out and I am putting a new bare root hybrid in today. I will also give them their first feeding today as they have been dormant since Christmas time. I am happiest when I am working in the yard, guess I'm just an old farmer at heart.

Make it a great week,

Love, Di
