Twenty years experience in applied research in the oil and gas industry emphasizing paleontology and sequence stratigraphy. Ten years experience in teaching and research at various academic institutions.
Adapted the LANDMARK workstation to the integration of seismic sections and high resolution stratigraphy to the definition of sequence and system tracts.
Developed and applied paleocommunity models to predict reservoirs and Cretaceous Reefs in the Tethys Belt.
Formed and supervised a group of paleontologist in the development of a composite standard data base for the Cretaceous.
Managed research group to study Plio-Pleistocene slope deposits in the Gulf of Mexico, resulting in a high resolution chronostratigraphy based on fossils, oxygen isotopes and magnetic events. Also, developed a composite standard data base of fossil ranges for high precision chronostatigraphy in the Cretaceous.
