Twenty-five years of versatile experience in mangerial, technical and training positions in UNIX workstations, 3D seismic interpretation, modeling and mapping, geologic analysis, cartography (GIS), and information technology.
Ten years of teaching short courses both in house and to clients in the oil and gas and mapping industries. Taught over 40 different software packages on all major platforms. Currently teaching classes in cartography, geographic information systems, oceanography and environmental science.
Wrote 4 computer manuals on petroleum database management, surveying and mapping, geological and geophysical analysis.
Prepared data sets, demo materials, and written instructions for training on new package for 3D seismic interpretation including train-the-trainer classes. these materials are being used successfully all over the world.
Taught training classes on UNIX workstations in 26 countries, including the Peoples Republic of China where the training was done through an interpreter. At the end of the training the students were able to load their own data and operate the system.
