Eighteen years experience in development geology, frontier exploration, research and applied technology, Strengths include reservoir characterization, carbonate stratigraphy, depositional systems and facies analysis, and petrography. Extensive experience with core, cuttings and outcrop samples.
Conducted reservoir studies of Mississippian Madison Limestone Reservoirs in Garland and Oregon Basin Fields, resulting in infill drilling program that developed significant reserves.
Performed stratigraphic and facies analysis, primarily in carbonate systems, in both domestic and international environments.
Participated in the Tensleep Sandstone horizontal well program, Permian Phosphoria Formation double displacement (gas/oil gravity drainage) program and mapped Cretaceous Cloverly and Frontier Formation and Triassic Chugwater Formation gas sands.
Integrated well logs, seismic data , core and outcrop samples, and published literature for frontier exploration assistance in Angola, Brazil, Egypt, Tunisia, Panama and Syria.
Evaluated exploration potential from literature in the central Africa Rift system, Bahamas Platform and the Jurassic section in North Africa.
Studied and Described reservoir cores for the Permian Carbonates of Yates Field, Texas, the Jurassic Sandstones of the Brae Field, North Sea, and of the Smackover Limestone, Gulf Coast.
Co-Lead Ancient Carbonate Field Seminars in West Texas, New Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
