Carmel Builders has unveiled its most upscale, highest-priced townhome product to date in the Houston area.

The Brownstones at CityCentre, which will open in 2008 at Interstate 10 and Beltway 8, range in price from $810,000 to more than $900,000.

The 35 brownstones are 3,245 square feet to 3,694 square feet in size. Each three-story home will feature stucco and stone exteriors with wood clad windows, gas lanterns and wrought iron details.

Kitchens will include Viking or Wolf/Sub Zero appliances; bathrooms will have natural stone floors and shower surrounds; and living areas will have hardwood floors. The luxury homes also will include surround sound, elevators, wine rooms and covered balconies.

James Miller, Carmel Builders' regional president, said the brownstones will be reminiscent of Georgetown in Washington, D.C. or the Upper East Side of New York City.

The brownstones are under construction in CityCentre, a mixed-use development by Houston-based Midway Cos. The pedestrian-oriented development will have many restaurants and stores including Eddie V's, Z Tejas, Brio Tuscan Grille, RA Sushi, Studio Movie Grill, Lifetime Fitness Athletic and Sur La Table.

Carmel Builders is a luxury division of Houston-based McGuyer Homebuilders Inc.
