Dear Roice and Marti,

One of Bridget's friends was having a missionary farewell today and his brother was reporting his mission from Siberia. He knows Paul and told Bridget they are getting along alright. They've lost some weight, but they're managing. Kade was teaching English a lot because of the hostile political situation, so it sounds like they are making some sensible adjustments to protect the missionaries. He's a nice kid and I'm sure he would be glad to talk with you on the phone if you want to call. His name is Kade Roundy, (801) 586-6603. I've sent another newspaper article on the Russian religious bill by mail. You are probably aware that Yeltsin vetoed it and the Russian Orthodox Church is unhappy.

Mother thinks she's going to Siberia this December. Good luck sorting her out on that one. She's convinced that Paul has been gone over a year already. Reality is just too confusing.

Love,

Sara
