Hi Roice,

I haven't even looked at a calendar to see when my kids have Spring Break. I still like to call it Easter Vacation because that is what it is to me. I wanted to let you know we will mot be ablt to make it to a river trip with you on Memorial Day Weekend. If we make it anywhere it will be to Farmington for Jeff Woods mission farewell. His farewell is the Sunday of Memorial weekend and he reports to the mission home on the 28th. I beleive the Wednesday after.

I met my friends sister tonight, she is from Cedar City. Her name is Georgia Thompson she works at the college and knows Des, Sara and your parents. She only knew of you through those associations and knows that you live in Texas. She told me that Sara is a wonderful saintly woman, we already knew that but it's nice to hear it from an outsider.

Georgia was down here for her nephews mission farewell, who just happens to be Ben's best friend Peter Anderson. He is leaving for Canada, I forgot which mission. I just found out one of Chucks cousins is going to Millwauke, WI and a friend of ours from WA is going to South Carolina. they both go into the mission home on May, 28th. That is that same day Jeff goes into the home. With all these missionaries out I think I ahd better get started on a form letter. I guess this is what happens when your boys get older and all their friends are called to serve. I think it's exciting.

Rob seems to have gorwn up fast. I still remember him as the young boy who ran off at the Family campout. He's starting to talk like you now. (Not a bad thing, just amazed at how he's grown up so if he's doing all that geologist/math stuff. I just don't sit still for much of the left brain activites.)

Hope you all have a great week. Say hi to the kids and Marti for me.

Love, Di
