Hi Roice,
I loved hearing you tell about seeing Paul off at the airport. We are all very excited about him serving a mission and talk about him and the few times we have been able to share with him. I'm sure you have heard about Debbie's son Jeff who recieved his mission call to Uruguay. We are all very excited for him as well.
I don't think my boys will ever forget that time we shared with you and your family. Daniel, who surprises me with his comments and thoughts occasionaly, asked me when the next reunion was. He wants to plan it into his schedule. I am so thankfull that he still has such a fondness for his family and wants to spend time with us. My experience has been that when a child lives contrary to a families teachings he usually does not want to have anything to do with them. Daniel is such a great kid, he just dosen't want to live the gospel right now. I pray every day that he will have a change of heart as I'm sure you do for your two sons.
I am very intrested in getting copies of the genealogy you have done on Grama Hafen's line. I did not know Marti is writing her history, wow! I would love a copy of that also. I would certainly be willing to pay for any printing and mailing costs if you would be willing to share.
Thanks for putting Pauls address on your Thoughtlets, we will get a letter off to him. I am taking a new job for a company called International Profit Associates. I will be starting there next Monday. It is way past time to get out of the cellular industry.

Dear Di,
Thanks for the nice note. It is great to hear about Jeff going to Uruguay. I'm glad Daniel remembers the Family Reunions. I am planning on inviting my kids to go rafting on a Utah River around Memorial Day. Any interest in joining us? There is no question about my prayers for Roice and Ben. Marti is moving out this week, and so the prayers are also for her and the three still at home. Sometimes life is no fun at all! I'm sorry to hear Daniel is also caught up in the great and spacious building right now.
Your Dad can copy all of the stuff I left for Grandma Hafen. That is all I have right now. I expect it will be a couple of years before I get all of the genealogy on the web. But when I do, it will be something anyone in the family can update interactively. Marti worked on a history for Grandma Hafen several years ago. Grandma took that and has a friend polishing it up for publication this fall. I have told Grandma I want copies for each of my kids. If you want the same tell her or your Dad right away, as I think there is only one planned for your family. He was there with us and the lady doing the writing.
I'm sure Paul (which means sex in Russian), will like to hear from you. I'm not sure how well he will do at responding. Congratulations on your new job. What are you going to be doing for International Profit Associates?
