The dead army leader lays on the right, with his arms still seemingly struggling. The arms are in harmony with the arms of his armour, on the left. This is a fresco in one of the corners of the Sistine Chapel, on the side of the entrance. In the other corner is the fresco with David killing Goliath, another episode where a jewish hero kills the enemy.
