Ezekiel 47:8-10 Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go int the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh. For a document as old as the Penateuch (approximately 600 B.C.)3.241, there is an amazing correlation between the types of biological life referenced as developing "after its own kind," and modern scientific understanding of plants, fish, insects, reptiles and amphibians, birds, and mammals. This correlation is emphasized by Table 4, which lists life specified as developing "after its own kind" in The Old Testament.

The scriptures do not mention microorganisms. Of course, prions3.242 and viruses3.243 and bacteria3.244 and plankton3.245 were not even known about by mankind until centuries after The Holy Bible was compiled. At the other end of the spectrum, The Holy Bible, nor any other scriptures I'm aware of, does not mention Neanderthal Man nor Cro-Magnon Man nor Peking Man nor any of the other old humanoid fossils scientists have discovered over the last century.
