New Suit.

. . .

Welcome to "the engines of my love," a regular review of why I love you, Martha Ellyn Sharp Nelson, and no other woman.

I love you because you have expressed concern for the way I dress over the years. I bought two new suits, and two pairs of pants for each new suit. When I went to pick them up the gray one did not fit. When I went back to get the alterations one of the pair of pants wasn't there. When I put the gray suit on Sunday there was a 1/4" hole in the right leg at about the top of stocking level. Taking pants back, picking up alterations, finding a Santa Claus suit for PAIRS, finding a way to dress like Beethoven for PAIRS, and general running of errands is not my favorite activity. As I now have the opportunity to do them and not to shuffle them off on you, I am starting to realize they were probably never your favorite activity either. Thank you for all of the years you have run the errands, picked out a new suit, helped keep everything running at home so I could go off and be a big shot, and loved our children. Thank you more than I have words for. I love you.

I'm interested in sharing why I love you. I know how important the written word is to you, and if you ever feel neglected, ignored, or unloved, and would like an up-to-date bound copy of these lovelets or any subset of these lovelets for any purpose you might have come to mind, please tell me or e-mail your request to rnelson@walden3d.com with the request 'lovelet update.'

With all my love,
Roice
