Swimming Pool

. . .

Welcome to "the engines of my love," a regular review of why I love you, Martha Ellyn Sharp Nelson, and no other woman.

I love you because you were at the house when I got home on Monday doing stuff that needs to be done. As I watched you clean the pool, I caught a little spark that told me do not give up. It was like a voice saying `Just love her and hope for the best.' It was nice to see you smile when I read you the words from Paul's letter: 'Sorry about the tax problems. Sounds rough. If you send me $20, I'll send you 100,000 no problem. Oh wait Rubles and dollars aren't the same I keep forgetting.' I was up late finishing sending you your Mother's Day Lovelets, and had to get up early for the meetings downtown with Pennzoil. You didn't seem to want to talk to me, and those things conspired to get me to take a nap. Thanks for coming in and talking to me. Thanks for hearing me say will continue to hope you will change your mind, I will continue to look at my motivations and fears and try to get them in balance, I hope to be here for you if you change your mind, even if you don't change your mind I will be a better person for the efforts I am making, and simply stated I love you.

I'm interested in sharing why I love you. I know how important the written word is to you, and if you ever feel neglected, ignored, or unloved, and would like an up-to-date bound copy of these lovelets or any subset of these lovelets for any purpose you might have come to mind, please tell me or e-mail your request to rnelson@walden3d.com with the request 'lovelet update.'

With all my love,
Roice
