. . .

I'm not sure what happened about that email to Aunt Sara. At least it's saved on my computer so when I get back to Save and then to internet, I can send it again.

I'm glad you are ok with my decision to come home. I will not be going to cooking school directly. First of all, I need to save up money before thats a possibility. Second, I want to do hands on research on the food industry before I commit to cooking school.

I would love if you would talk to Joe Menkie about the possibility of an apprenticeship of sort where I could get a chance to really become involved in a kitchen. I will certainly send you a resume if you think that's best. But, I have little kitchen experience (I worked at a bakery in college, and a catering company in high school). Even just to stop in and mention that I am interested and get a feel for the possibility of an apprenticeship. That could open up the idea of it and when I come home, I can meet him personally and talk in more depth. What do you think?

Thanks so much. I got back from Ghana just fine. Togo was very calm. Talk to you soon,

Sara
