Expand your pallet of building technology with HyperFrames. The HyperFrames Systems provide you convenient and comfortable access to cutting-edge building forms and technology, the following among them:

HyperFrames Architectural Building Systems represent the most comprehensive family of specialty structures technology in the marketplace. HyperFrames bring you true innovation with the predictability of conventional methods, cutting edge building systems without the risk of unproven technology.

HyperFrames were developed by the leading international building system design and implementation team of ASI Advanced Structures Incorporated. HyperFrames represent the apogee of advanced building systems technology, incorporating the latest in systems automation and the most recent developments in material and process sciences. ASI continues to support the HyperFrames Systems by providing ongoing systems development and advanced design and engineering services on custom projects.

Summary of the HyperFrames Systems: (detail descriptions follow)

MaxFrame

The original steel ball and tube space frame system is still the most widely used world-wide, and for good reason. This workhorse of the space frame systems combines quality design and economical fabrication costs, with ample configuration flexibility and spanning capacity. The MaxFrame is a fully updated version combining the very latest in material and process technology. Nothing new here except for unprecedented quality and maximized economies, brining new life and practical utility to the tried and true original. Available in a wide variety of material finishes.

CrystalFrame:

This fully optimized ball and tube space frame system design represents the ultimate in quality, elegance, and performance. Ball nodes are machine finished, hardware is concealed, and welds are ground flush to provide the most elegant system aesthetic available in the marketplace. Each individual component is a gem-quality industrial work of art. Available as either an open or closed tube system in virtually any finish, including exotic metallic platings. Component material choices range from stainless steel to aluminum. If you want the very best in appearance and performance at a surprisingly competitive cost, this is the system.

PolyFrame:

A powerhouse space frame system utilizing a plate node connection with closed-section tubes. This innovative system combines greater spanning capacity than the ball and tube systems with costs competitive with conventional one-way truss construction. If your building problem includes demanding structural requirements with the usual cost constraints, PolyFrame is your solution. An all-aluminum version is available with enhanced corrosion resistance.

QuickFrame:

QuickFrame is the ultimate in low cost space frame systems. The connection strategy employs an economical stamped node and stamped strut end with exposed hardware. Preferred where performance requirements are minimal and cost is the predominant concern.

GeoFrame:

This single-layer dome system is available in aluminum or steel, with or without integrated panel cladding or glazing, for moderate spanning applications. Several HyperFrames systems will support the construction of long span dished, domed, and radial space structures.

TensileFrame:

Glass clad tension structures represent the ultimate in architectural building features. They are typically used in large span wall and overhead enclosure applications, and incorporate minimal structure for maximum transparency. Structure is minimized via the extensive use of rod or cable tension elements. The rod and cable fittings are finely detailed, machined components of stainless steel. Many such designs by leading architects have been constructed in Europe recently. The TensileFrame System was developed to bring a higher level of standardization, and thus economy, to these structures. The first such structure to be built in the US, the AIA award winning Vanderbilt Medical Center Library in Nashville, Tennessee by Davis-Brody Architects, was completed utilizing the TensileFrame System at a cost only marginally higher than a conventional curtain wall. If your project calls for the very latest in elegance and innovation, then TensileFrame is the solution. (See the TensileFrame screen in this electronic program.)

FabFrame:

FabFrame includes tension fabric structures in various material types ranging from high performance teflon-coated fiberglass to less expensive laminated materials. Applications range from architectural awnings and canopies to stadium enclosures. Tension fabric structures, along with tension structures in general, are among the most exciting and rapidly developing building technologies in the market today.
